Raj Kumar Gupta's 2018 thriller-drama film 'Raid' starring Ajay Devgn and Ileana D'Cruz was a major box office success earning more than 140 crores worldwide. Fans loved the film with all their hearts and Ajay's performance was one of the major highlights of the film as always as the morally upright IRS officer Amay Patnaik.

Since then, talks habve been going on about making a sequel to the superhit film and now Raid 2 has officially been confirmed. Yes! that is right, Saurabh Shukla who played the antagonist 'Rameshwar Singh' in Raid recently shared the news of his facebook page writing "Raid 2 confirmed by Ajay Devgn ji" making the fans go crazy who are now eagerly waiting to see Ajay Devgn in the badass avatar of Amay Patnaik once again.

On the work front, Ajay will be next seen in Abhishek DUdhaiya's war-drama film 'Bhuj: The Pride of India' which is based on the 1971 Indo-Pak war. It focuses on IAF Squadron Leader Vijay Karnik, the then in-charge of the Bhuj airport who with his team reconstructed the IAF airbase with the help of 300 local women. The film also stars Sanjay Dutt, Sonakshi Sinha, SHarad Kelkar, Ammy Virk, Nora Fethi and Pranitha Subhash and it is scheduled to release on August 14th, 2020.
