Aditya Roy Kapur and Disha Patni starrer romantic-thriller film 'Malang' hit the screens this February and was liked by the audience earning a good moolah on the box office too. Recently, the film was released on Netflix amidst the lockdown where it is getting a very strong response from the audience and has been trending at number one on Netflix in India for several days now. In the meanwhile, a piece of good news has arrived for the Malang lovers that the film is going to get a sequel that has now been confirmed.
Yes, recently one of the producers of Malang, Ankur Garg, during a conversation with the news agency IANS, confirmed the sequel saying "We are thankful to the audience who has shown such a phenomenal response to our film Malang after the theatres, now on OTT. While people are enjoying Malang on Netflix, yes, we are coming up with Malang 2. Mohit and Luv (Ranjan) are working on the sequel and more details will follow soon".
There is a lot of excitement among the fans of both Disha and Aditya for the sequel and it will be interesting to see what the sequel brings to the screen. Along with Aditya Roy Kapoor and Disha Patni, Anil Kapoor, Kunal Khemu, Amrita Khanvilkar and Elli Avram were also seen in important roles in Malang. Directed by Mohit Suri, Malang was released on February 7th and grossed over 80 crores at the box office.
