Kranti Prakash Jha has made his space in bollywood with movies like Ramleela, M.S Dhoni, Batla House and has even played Role of Yoga Guru Swami Baba Ramdev. The Mumbai based actor hailing from Bihar has covered a long journey to reach where he is now and is all set for his upcoming release. He will be seen in MX Player's Web Series Titled `Raktanchal`.


From the Boy next door, who was a great friend Santosh in M S Dhoni to angry and Violent `Vijay Singh` in Raktanchal. He said `My Journey has been amazing and I am thankful to god for that. I had some wonderful opportunities to play different kinds of roles. There are still many Genres that I need to explore and I am looking forward to it. He is super excited for his upcoming Series and when asked about his character, he said `I am playing a character named Vijay Singh. He is a Normal guy who is preparing for his UPSC exam and is willing to do something good for the country as it's his father's dream. Due to some unwanted situations and circumstances, Vijay's life takes a U turn and we get to see the angry young man. In the series you will notice the dark side of the terror and the Gang War and rivalry. He becomes the most fearless man in the Purvanchal, many faces of Vijay will be a surprise for the audience. The story is inspired by true event which introduces you to Mafia Culture and how Puravanchal turned into Raktanchal.`


Kranti Prakash Singh is a peace lover person, not in his dreams he can be so evil in real life, so he had to work even harder to play such a character. `We received the script a few days before the shoot so I have gone through the script 20 to 30 times and try to understand Vijay's perspective and his point of view to react in a certain way. Tried to be away from the world for some time, as an actor it is my responsibility to do full justice to the role. And I have dedicated this role to the legend Mr Amitabh Bachchan, as he has also played the iconic characters with the name Vijay in 20 of his films.`
