Many Bollywood actors are coming forward to help the migrants stuck away from their homes due to the lockdown. But the name that has been a lot in the news for helping thousands of labourers to reach their homes from Maharashtra. Now Sonu has done something that has made him a real-life hero in the eyes of his fans who are showering all their love on the star.
Recently, Sonu airlifted 177 women trapped in a factory in Kerala and helped them reach their homes. According to a report in India Today, a friend of Sonu's, while talking about this said that Sonu got the information about the girls being stranded from a friend after which he decided to help them as soon as possible.
After this, Sonu first arranged an aeroplane from Bengaluru to get these girls airlifted from Kerala, then got the necessary permission from the government and soon after the girls reached their homes in Bhubaneswar. For this noble step Sonu, every one from his fans to celebrities is all praises for Sonu
Earlier too, Sonu had arranged buses for thousands of workers of Maharashtra to go to their respective homes in Telangana, Odisha, Uttar Pradesh and Bihar. A few days ago, Sonu had also issued a helpline number on social media for such workers who need help going home.
