The children thoroughly enjoyed Vicky's virtual Bollywood dance class that was organised on June 7, 2020. The best part was that the Likee influencer did not charge any fee for the class. Though the organizers were willing to pay Vicky's fee for the event, he took it up as a cause and not as an opportunity to mint money. Since the outbreak of the novel virus and declaration of lockdown, Vicky has regularly been organising virtual classes and workshops for youngsters who are dance enthusiasts.
`When the opportunity came my way, I could not let it go. I was really honoured to be a part of the same and glad that I got to teach dance to some wonderful kids,` said Vicky, who has stood out of the crowd of social media influencers by supporting the noble cause and demonstrating that he still believes in good deed.
Short video app Likee has played a key role in Vicky's rise as an ace dancer and choreographer. He had joined the platform shortly after its launch in 2017 and has not looked back since then. In his own words, being consistent and providing entertaining content led him to a fan base of more than 2.5 million people. The dancer, who has worked with the likes of legendary cricketer Mahendra Singh Dhoni and actress Katrina Kaif in ad films, accredits Likee for his success as the app helped him become part of several campaigns and even earn a substantial monthly earning.
Speaking about his journey on the app, Vicky feels that Likee has helped in creating a `triangle comprising content creators, Likee and audience, which is a win-win situation for all`. According to him, there are lesser options on other apps and Likee's unique features have made video creation easier. According to him, Likee offers opportunities and recognition for talents. Pointing that the app allows him to upload his dance tutorials with ease and even interact live with his fans, he adds, `I would recommend our friends too to join Likee.`
