Talking about his decision to cast Sushmita in the lead role, director Ram Madhvani says, `Sushmita is the definition of grace and substance in front of the camera. When we developed this show and its lead character, we had to look for someone who plays the several layers of this character with nuance. Sushmita fits this character like a glove.`

Hotstar Specials presents Aarya starring Sushmita Sen, Chandrachur Singh, Namit Das, Sikander Kher, and many more in the pivotal roles.
