Returning to display his much launded acting chops once again is actor Chandrachur Singh who makes his OTT debut with Hotstar Specials - Aarya headlined by none other than Sushmita Sen. Essaying the role of Tej, Chandrachur plays Sushmita Sen's on screen husband on the show. This year also marks 20 years of Chandrachur's cinematic outing Josh opposite Sushmita's contemporary then - Aishwarya Rai.

Ask him about working with Sushmita and Aishwarya and he says, "Aishwarya was an absolute delight to work with. She's was a thorough professional and someone who always had her feet to the ground. It's been 20 years since that experience and now to be making my digital debut opposite Sushmita Sen is just wonderful. This experience and everything about it was serendipity right from how it happened to how beautifully Aarya has shaped up. Sushmita and I were meant to work together many years ago but it never unfortunately worked out and now I know why. Because we were meant to do Aarya. Sushmita embodies so much of Aarya yet manages to bring such a unique approach to her persona with her vulnerability. Working with her has been incredible. She engulfs the entire set with her warmth and her presence and she makes sure she's sunshine for everyone. Both Aishwarya and Sushmita are very different but have one thing in common - their warm heartedness."

Directed by Ram Madhvani, co-starring Namit Das, Sikander Kher among others, Aarya will premiere on Disney+ Hotstar on June 19.
