Udta Punjab was a black comedy crime film, starring Shahid Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, Kareena Kapoor Khan and Diljit Dosanjh is a 2016 film that is set in Punjab and highlights the increasing drug abuse problem in the state. Directed by Abhishek Chaubey, the film hit the screens on June 17, 2016, as the film clocks four years, and lead star Diljit Dosanjh celebrate this gem of the movie as it was his first Bollywood debut film.

Diljit Dosanjh was appreciated for his performance and got entry into Bollywood films due to 'Udta Punjab'. Diljit was last seen in 'Good Newwz' which Akshay Kumar, Kareena Kapoor and Kiara Advani.
