Ardaas Karaan is the sequel to the film 'Ardaas' and thus follows the same narrative but in a different setting. The film received tremendous response from its fans in India. 'Ardaas Karaan' also managed to do fairly good numbers at the box office and thus promoted a positive message through the film in general. Its a good news for all Pollywood fans as Ardaas Karaan will re-release on June 25th in Newzealand.

Due to the lockdown imposed by the government, the theatres in New Zealand had been shut down, however, as the lockdown has been lifted now, theatres are reopening in the country from next week. Rana Ranbir shared the news of Re-release of the film on his Instagram with the poster of 'Ardaas Karaan', on the poster, it's written 'the second coming' with the release date 25th June 2020. The movie stars Gippy Grewal, Gurpreet Ghuggi, Sapna Pabbi, Japji Khaira, Meher Vij, Kuljinder Singh Sidhu, Sardar Sohi, Malkit Rauni, Seerat Rana, Yograj Singh and Rana Jung Bahadur. The film was directed and written by Gippy Grewal and co-written by Rana Ranbir.
