Amazon Prime Video's latest film titled 'Penguin' finally released for its prime members across 200 countries on 19th June 2020. Everyone who had been following the updates of the film was eagerly waiting and have loved the film particularly, for Keerthy Suresh's performance. In a recent interview, the actress who is playing the lead role of 'Rhythm' shares how she would love to do more thriller films and much more.

Keerthy Suresh was asked if she would love to do more such thriller film. To which the actress said, "Yeah, I would love to. I think my very first film was more of a horror. This one more of a thriller, which is you know, a woman driven film. And yeah, more than just saying woman driven film, it's a thriller. I love the whole point of this perspective of a motherhood, you know."

Talking more about what was the highlight point of the woman driven thriller, the actress adds, "That in the film is what I feel is the major highlight where even in the end where I say being a mother it's not just a relationship, it's an attitude. I mean how cool is that. Every mother or every pregnant woman is going to feel so proud. It shows the importance we are holding for all pregnant women, makes them feel like a hero and how important motherhood is and I think it's great."

Penguin marked Keerthy's OTT debut as an actress and also Eashvar Karthic's debut as a director. The film released in Tamil, Telegu and dubbed in Malayalam. This psychological thriller is sure to keep you guessing on who is the final killer and why did he commit the crime.

The makers had this time kept the male lead under wraps until the final release and it had come as a surprise to many seeing who the male lead was. Penguin is produced by Karthik Subbaraj under the banner Stone Bench Films and is also produced by Kaarthekeyen Santhanam, Sudhan Sundaram, and Jayaram under Passion Studios.
