Shah Rukh Khan recently completed 28 years of his film journey in Bollywood. On Sunday, the 54 years old actor shared a picture of himself on social media and wrote a warm note thanking his fans for their wishes. The actor mentioned that how his passion became his purpose and turned into a profession.

Shah Rukh Khan wrote while sharing the picture, "Don't know when my passion became my purpose and then turned into my profession. Thank u all for so many years of allowing me to entertain you. More than my professionalism I believe my passionalism will see me through many more years of service to all of you. 28 years and counting." The actor also gave picture courtesy to wife Gauri Khan and wrote, "Thank you, Gauri Khan, for capturing this moment." Check out his post here -



Shah Rukh Khan, who made his TV debut with serial Fauji (1988) and made his Bollywood debut with Raj Kanwar's romantic drama 'Deewana' (1992) has over 28 years, Shah Rukh Khan has delivered some of the major hits of the Hindi cinema such as Baazigar, Darr, Kuch Kuch Hota Hai, Kal Ho Naa Ho, Main Hoon Na, Veer-Zaara, My Name Is Khan, Chak De India and many more. Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol's romantic drama Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge (1995) is the longest-running film in the history of Indian cinema.

On the work front, we last saw Shah Rukh Khan in Aanand L Rai's film 'Zero' featuring Katrina Kaif and Anushka Sharma in the lead roles, which failed to fare well at the box office. Next, he is speculated to be seen in Rajkumar Hirani's next comedy-drama film which is set to go on floors in October this year.
