The movie is produced by Bhushan Kumar and the shooting of the movie will begin in August 2020. Makers of 'Satyameva Jayate 2' have decided to come up with masks at the time of the shooting. The movie was officially announced by John Abraham on 27 September 2018. Director-producer Divya Khosla Kumar was finalized for the female lead role, marking her comeback to acting after several years after Ab Tumhare Hawale Watan Saathiyo.
