The queen of peppy numbers has shared a soulful rendition of the tribute melody, 'Ye Heartwork Kehlata Hai' as part of LAY'S' new campaign. Aptly titled 'Heartwork', the campaign is an ode to thousands of unsung heroes like farmers, truck drivers, retailers and many more who are working round the clock even in these challenging times to bring joy to millions of people across the country. To extend further support to these communities, LAY'S has also partnered with Smile Foundation to provide hygiene kits containing masks and sanitizers to families of such unsung heroes.
Sharing her thoughts, Neha said, `I believe that expressing our gratitude and appreciation towards the unseen heroes, who are working hard during these tough times is essential. I was moved by the emotional ode from LAY'S to the unsung heroes - farmers, truck drivers, retailers, and many more - who are working day and night to bring joy to millions. The lyrics and composition of the #Heartwork melody were so touching that I couldn't stop myself from making a rendition of this tribute and support this genuine initiative.`
Neha is loved and revered by millions across India not just for her music, but also for proving that true passion and hard work can bring success for anyone, irrespective of their background. The popular artist started out small by singing for community events and went on to judge a reality show that she had once auditioned for!
While sharing her take on the ode 'Ye Heartwork Kehlata Hai', Neha shared how she fully understands the importance of hard work and hence, could not stop herself from humming the beautiful melody as an ode to the unwavering dedication of India's unsung heroes. Her rendition has been receiving immense love and support from her fans across the country as the post has already crossed 3 lakh views within an hour of going live on Instagram. Going a step further, Neha also changed her display picture to express her heartfelt gratitude to all these heroes.
Neha's purposeful tribute comes after those of fellow music sensation, Jassie Gill and popular Punjabi actor-singer Shehnaaz Gill. Keeping the chain of gratitude and appreciation going, more and more singers and artists will soon be sharing their renditions of the #Heartwork anthem in support of the initiative.
