Vidyut's 'Khuda Hafiz' and Kunal Kemmu's 'Lootcase' are among those 7 movies which are going to be released on Disney+ Hotstar but still they both were not invited for this chat event. Whereas, the platform was given to the big stars like Akshay Kumar for 'Laxmmi Bomb' and 'Sadak 2' featuring Alia Bhatt, Ajay Devgn for 'Bhuj: The Pride of India' and Abhishek Bachchan for 'The Big Bull'.
Now once again, many people are taking a stand against this discrimination by tweeting and expressing their views. Kangana Ranaut, who is already against the norms of the Bollywood industry due to Nepotism said: "Such a shame that ill-treatment of outsiders continues even in territories where everyone is new and an outsider."
Not only Kangana but various other celebs like Genelia Deshmukh and Randeep Hooda also supported Jammwal on Twitter where Jammwal wrote "BIG announcement for sure!!
7 films scheduled for release but only 5 are deemed worthy of representation. 2 films, receive no invitation or intimation. It's a long road ahead. THE CYCLE CONTINUES" and Kunal Kemmu also showed his anger towards this by tweeting "Respect and love are not asked for, they are earned. If someone doesn't give it to us, it doesn't make us smaller. Just give us a field to play and we too can take a high leap."
Genelia Deshmukh supported Vidyut by saying "Every film is made with a lot of love, a lot of sweat & a lot of people giving it their all. It's only fair to want a little respect, it's only fair to expect an invitation, it's only fair to have at least been intimated. But then, sometimes even life is not fair. keep walking my friend". After Sushant's unfortunate suicide, once again the debate on nepotism and favouritism has been sparked in the industry forcing people to come out and share their plight.
