Actress Vaani Kapoor will be featuring in a lead role opposite Akshay Kumar in 'Bell Bottom' a spy thriller directed by Ranjit M. Tewari. This will be Vaani's first film with superstar Akshay Kumar.

Akshay released the first look of the poster of 'Bell Bottom' in January 2020 and announced that the film will be releasing on April 2, 2021. The film is inspired by true events and is set in the 1980s, and the story is about one of India's forgotten heroes. Vaani is super excited for this big project with Akshay as she uploaded pictures with Akshay on social media and confirmed that she will be playing the lead in 'Bell Bottom'. Vaani made her debut in Bollywood with Maneesh Sharma's Shuddh Desi Romance(2013) along with late Sushant Singh Rajput and Parineeti Chopra. The actress will also be seen next in Karan Malhotra's 'Shamshera', an upcoming 2020 Indian action-adventure film starring Ranbir Kapoor and Sanjay Dutt.
