Ranveer was last seen on-screen in Zoya Akhtar's Gully boy (2019), a musical drama film which was selected as the India's official entry for the Best International Feature Film at the 92nd Academy Awards. The actor will next be seen as Kapil Dev in Kabir Khan's '83', an upcoming Indian sports drama film based on Team India's historic win in the 1983 Cricket World Cup.
