Bhaag Milkha Bhaag is a 2013 Indian biographical sports drama film directed by Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra and written by Prasoon Joshi. The film was based on the life of Indian athlete Milkha Singh, who was a national champion runner and an Olympian. The film featured Farhan Akhtar in the titular role with Sonam Kapoor, Divya Dutta, Meesha Shafi, Pavan Malhotra, Yograj Singh, Art Malik, and Prakash Raj in supporting roles and was a hit on the box-office becaming the sixth highest-grossing film of 2013
