Megastar Amitabh Bachchan who is fighting with coronavirus thanked all his fans on social media for showering immense love and prayers for the actor as the actor is admitted in hospital and suffering from ill-health.

Amitabh was tested COVID positive last Saturday along with his son Abhishek Bachchan and are seeking treatment at Nanavati hospital, Mumbai. Recently, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and her daughter Aradhya also tested positive and are quarantined at their home. Amitabh's fans and well-wishers are going mad over the news of his COVID positive and a big crowd was seen outside the Nanavati hospital screaming Amitabh's name. Amitabh got emotional by receieving so much love and prayers and wrote a thankyou note for his well wishers . He wrote, ''प्रार्थनाओं, सद भावनाओं की मूसलाधार बारिश ने स्नेह रूपी बंधन का बांध तोड़ दिया है ; बह गया, स्थिर रह ना पाया, तर कर दिया मुझे इस अपार प्यार ने, मेरे इस एकाकी पन के अंधेरे को जो तुमने प्रज्वलित कर दिया है व्यक्त न कर पाउँगा व्यक्तिगत आभार , बस, नत मस्तक हूँ मैं. On the work front, senior Bachchan was last seen in Shoojit Sircar's 'Gulabo Sitabo' (2020), a comedy-drama film that also starred Ayushmann Khurrana in the lead role. The actor will be next seen in Ayan Mukerji's 'Brahmastra', an upcoming action fantasy film that also stars Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor in the lead roles.
