'Gunjan Saxena - The Kargil Girl' is a biographical film directed by Sharan Sharma and produced under Dharma Productions and Zee Studios is releasing on Netflix on August 12th. The film stars Janhvi Kapoor as Indian Air Force pilot Gunjan Saxena, the first Indian female airforce pilot in combat, alongside Pankaj Tripathi and Angad Bedi who are playing a supporting roles in the film.
The film was earlier slated to release on April 24 but due to the Coronavirus pandemic, the filmmakers hold the film release and on June 10th, Karan Johan who is also producing the film announced that the film will directly stream on Netflix. On the other side, Janhvi Kapoor will be seen next in Hardik Mehta's 'Roohi Afzana' along with Rajkummar Rao, Varun Sharma in the pivotal roles.
