Kangana Ranaut's latest interview with Republic Media Network's Editor-in-Chief Arnab Goswami is taking new turns and twists as her bold statement in the interview is becoming the talk of the town, despite the fact that it is not only stretching Sushant Singh Rajput's suicide case but also fuelling nepotism and insider vs outsider debate too.

Now according to India Today report, "A team of officials from Bandra Police Station visited Kangana's Khar Gymkhana home with a summon copy on July 3th. Where they interacted with Kangana's staff worker, Amrita Dutt, and asked her to accept the summons and inform the actress to join investigations on the said date. However, according to sources, Amrita Dutt refused to accept the summons after which the police officers requested her to share the email address and current contact details of the actress. Amrita Dutt refused to give that information as well. She was asked to come to the police station on July 4 but she didn't comply with that."

On Tuesday, Kangana Ranaut`s team who handles her social media accounts, tweeted while informing her fans that the actress wants to record a statement in Sushant's case but unable to get any response from Mumbai police. Her team also shared Whatsapp conversation screenshots that happened between Kangana's sister Rangoli and Mumbai police. Her team wrote on Twitter, "There is no formal summon sent to Kangana, Rangoli keeps getting casual calls from the cops for past 2 weeks, Kangana wants to record statement but we don't get any response from @mumbaipolice, Here's a screenshot of message Rangoli ji sent to @mumbaipolice". On July 20th, Rajya Sabha MP Subramanian Swamy tweeted while supporting Kangana and ensured her to assist her with her legal rights. He wrote, "Kangana Ranaut's office has contacted Ishkaran. Ishkaran and I will meet soon to discuss how to assist her with her legal rights if and when the meeting with the Mumbai Police takes place. I am told she is among top three in Hindi cinema stardom. But on guts she gets top marks." Check out his tweet here -

Well, Kangana Ranaut in her interview with Republic Media Network revealed that she had been summoned by Mumbai Police for interrogation in Sushant Singh Rajput's case. But as she is residing with her family in Manali, is not able to give her statement personally in the police station and wants an officer to visit her personally to take her verbal statement. Meanwhile, Mumbai police are investigating the case and have already recorded the statement of 39 people who were connected with Sushant Singh Rajput and are ready to summon more Bollywood celebrities.
