Aditya's father Udit also starred in a couple of Nepali film before he called it quits.

While Zee TV has announced the 19-year old son of Udit Narayan as replacement for Shaan on Sa Re Ga Ma Pa, young Aditya Narayan denies having taken a decision on the matter.

"Yes, I've been approached. But I haven't said yes as yet. I'm giving the matter a lot of thought. I may or may not do it finally," says the young man who has just done a three-month acting course in London.

"Acting is another option," says Aditya who as a child did pivotal roles in Jab Pyar Kissise Hota Hai and Pardes. "If I get good offers I'm open to acting. In the meanwhile my riyaaz is going on every day. Music and singing are in my genes. So I may end up dividing my time between acting and singing."
