Whether it is on the OTT platform or big screen, Akshay Kumar's fans' are eagerly waiting for his movies. As there are several films which are releasing directly on digital platforms and now, Akshay has announced one more project with director Aanand L Rai. Titled 'Raksha Bandhan' the film's theme is based on the special bond of brother-sister and the film will hit the screens on November 5th, 2021.

Akshay Kumar posted the first look of the film on Instagram a while ago. He also dedicated the film to his sister Alka and captioned it, "Hardly ever in life does one come across a story that touches your heart so deeply and so instantly...it's the quickest I've signed a film in my career. 'Raksha Bandhan' marks the second collaboration of actor Akshay Kumar and director Aanand L Rai, who is also working with Akshay on 'Atrangi Re' which features Sara Ali Khan and South superstar Dhanush. On the work front, besides Rakshabandhan, Akshay Kumar has Raghava Lawrence's 'Laxmmi Bomb', Rohit Shetty's 'Sooryavanshi', Chandraprakash Dwivedi's 'Prithviraj' in his kitty.
