Star rehashes Zee's 'Sa Re Ga Ma Pa', serves 'Star Voice of India'

With the exit of Zee's pet, Gajendra Singh, maker of talent hunt shows like 'Antakshari' and 'Sa Re Ga Ma Pa' a cold war was announced between India's top two entertainment channels - Zee and Star.

After alleging each other of 'hijacking' with their own versions of 'Antakshari', both the channels have once again thrown their hats for round two by announcing similar formats of 'Sa Re Ga Ma Pa'. With Zee having announced its show some 3 week back, today Star also announced its own version by the name of 'Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Dha Ni Sa'.

It is notable here that we first broke the news that Star is planning its own version of 'Sa Re Ga Ma Pa' by the name of 'Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Dha Ni Sa' around two months back.

But at that time, Star had strongly denied that it had any such plans in the pipeline. But with today's announcement, it is clear that Star doesnt want to be left behind in the race.
