Who can forget Ayushmann Khurrana's comedy-drama film 'Bala' in which he portrays the role of a young man, who suffers from male pattern baldness. The story is about his lack of confidence and the societal pressure that comes with premature balding with the racism theme. On Tuesday, Bala's director Amar Kaushik celebrated his birthday and on his special day, his 'Bala' star Ayushmann Khurrana also shared his warm wishes for one of his favorite directors.

Ayushmann Khurrana shared a BTS picture with Amar Kaushik from the set of 'Bala' on his Instagram story and wished the director on his special day. He captioned the story, "Happy Birthday @amarkaushik Thank you for existing!" Check out his story here -


Kaushik began his film career in 2008, working as Raj Kumar Gupta's assistant director for 'Aamir' film. He teamed up with Gupta again to serve as associate director for 'No One Killed Jessica' and 'Ghanchakkar'. Talking about his recent project then, Bala (2019) was based on an original story by Bengali film director Pavel Bhattacharjee about the life of Rohit Sood. Along with Ayushmann Khurrana, the film also features Bhumi Pednekar, Yami Gautam, Javed Jaffrey, Saurabh Shukla, and Seema Pahwa in pivotal roles.
