Rhea Chakraborty, who has been accused of Sushant Singh Rajput's sudden demise, arrived at the Enforcement Directorate (ED) office in Mumbai on Friday morning. Rhea was spotted with her brother Showik Chakraborty outside the ED office.

Earlier, ED had rejected Rhea's request for the recording of her statement to be postponed till the Supreme Court hearing. ED has also summoned Shruti Modi, former business manager of Sushant and Late actor's friend Sidharth Pithani to appear before the agency on 10th August.


Recently, the death case of SSR was transferred to CBI on the request of the Bihar government and Sushant's father KK Singh. Bihar government informed the apex court that Rhea's plea on requesting the SSR's suicide case to be transferred to Mumbai police is "premature, misconceived and non-maintainable" and shall not be considered.

Earlier in July, KK Singh filed an FIR against Rhea Chakraborty and five other members under various sections of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) including 'abetment of suicide'. KK Singh also accused Mumbai Police of not carrying out the proper investigation on Sushant's death case and covering up the case for saving high profile people.
