Madhuri Dixit is undoubtedly one of the most popular actresses of Hindi cinema, who has appeared in over 70 Bollywood films and is the recipient of several accolades and awards, and has featured seven times on Forbes India's Celebrity 100 list. Exactly 36 years ago on this day, Madhuri entered into the world of glamour and glitz and made her big name in the Bollywood world with her debut film 'Abodh'.

As of Monday, Madhuri Dixit shared a video on her Twitter handle and talked about her debut film, 'Abodh'. She tweeted, "This day back in 1984 I started my journey in Bollywood with Abodh. Join me as I look back at some of the scenes - http://bit.ly/36YearsOfAbodh I've had the privilege of working with some very talented people over the years & I'm grateful for all the love #36YearsInBollywood." While sharing her unforgettable scenes from Abodh, Madhuri also conducted an Ask Me Anything session with her fans on Twitter. Well, most of the questions were related to Madhuri only but one of her fans asked her, "Which movies are your favorite of Shah Rukh Khan...??" On this, the actress replied, `I loved him in Baazigar, DDLJ, Chak De India & all the films we did together.` Check out her tweet here -



On the work front, she was last seen in 'Kalank' which also starred Varun Dhawan, Alia Bhatt, Sonakshi Sinha, Aditya Roy Kapur and Sanjay Dutt in the lead roles. Although the movie received mixed reactions from the audience and the critics but it eventually boomed at the box-office. She is currently working on her production venture 'Panchak', which will be a comedy film.
