The Singhania family is busy with Vasudha & Sushant's engagement. Everyone is happy for the couple. Sushant realizes that his mother Uttara has been systematically lying to him.

He just cannot figure out his mother's unusual behaviour. Soon you realize that Uttara mysteriously disappears from the engagement.

Vedika who is out to buy a gift for Vasudha by chance stumbles upon Uttarara's secret. She realizes that Uttara has been looking after Shalini, who is Vasudha's mother (said to be dead) for 30 long years.
