The Big Bull's first look was released in January 2020 with the tagline, 'The man who sold dreams to India'. From that time, the film was in the limelight and attracted the audience's attention as the film is inspired by 'The Harshad Mehta securities scam' of 1992. Before Mehul Choksi and Nirav Modi, late Harshad Mehta was the man who notoriously scammed the entire country with his stock manipulation scheme and eventually exposing the several loopholes in the Indian banking system.

Ileana D'Cruz shared the poster on social media and captioned it, "Excited to be a part of the world of The Big Bull: The Man who sold dreams to India. #TheBigBull a crime drama that shook the financial fabric of the country will unveil soon with #DisneyPlusHotstarMultiplex on @DisneyPlusHotstarVIP." The Big Bull is a biographical crime film directed by Kookie Gulati and produced by Ajay Devgn, Anand Pandit and Vikrant Sharma, Kumar Mangat Pathak. The film storyline will showcase the controversial life of Harshad Mehta from 1980 to 1990. As the stockbroker was involved in a financial crime over a period of 10 years. The film stars Abhishek Bachchan as Mehta. Nikita Dutta and Ileana D'Cruz play supporting roles. Earlier, the film was supposed to release in theatres but due to the COVID-19 pandemic, filmmakers decided to directly release it soon on Disney+Hotstar.
