Hrithik in Black shown in his own dream world visualizing who his life partner would be, where would she be, what she would be and when would she be his? The answer for all this is plain and simple according to him - Why dont just leave this to god? This is what Arjun Sablok`s NTJNH conveys - `Sometimes you just leave it to God...`.

Na Tum Jaano Na Hum is Hrithik`s first tryst with a relatively unknown guy after working with biggies. Presented by Pantaloon, NTJNH also marks the coming together of Hrithik and Esha. Not much hype has been made about this pairing but one thing that has gone un-noticed is that Roshan Senior and Esha`s mother Hema Malini too had come together in `Paraya Dhan` years back that also starred Balraj Sahni and Ajit. After winning accolades for his comic timing in Love Ke Liye Kuch Bhi Karega and Dil Chahta Hai, Saif Ali Khan plays a lover boy in NTJNH. Rajesh Roshan composes again for a Hrithik starrer and Bakshi saab writes.

`Dil Leke` by Udit Narayan and Pamela Jain is quite melodious and is one of those songs that are instantly likeable and one starts humming soon after hearing it. Esha looks a sweet little bubbly girl. Hrithik dances in his usual flexi-style. Overall the number is good.

Probably for the first time in his playback singing career, Kamaal Khan lends his vocals to someone other than Salman Khan. In NTJNH, he gets to croon two songs - duet `Jaa Sanam` with Sneha Pant and a solo `Tum`. The former is a situational `dard-e-judaai` kind of a number and is again impressive. It is a slow number and takes some time to grow. Kamaal Khan after `O Piya O Piya` (Kahin Pyaar Na Ho Jaaye) proves once again that he is very much capable of singing soft numbers as well. Sneha Pant is good too. `Tum` is again a very soft number but is set in a non-film number mode. A song for a rainy day to be heard at a very low volume to be enjoyed.

Haye Ram` is a number set in old-fashioned style. The sound of falling of drops deserves a special mention. Sound of `Haye Ram` is very different from the other compositions of today, though the song may appeal to just a very select audience. The choreography by Saroj Khan is unique too.

`Ye Betiyan` by Jaspinder Narula is again very situational and is about the essence of being a daughter and a mother and the relation they share. No No - you certainly won`t be buying NTJNH for this very number which is quite predictable and well - `Boring`. `Chunariya` is one number that may become one of the highlights of the movie provided it is picturized and marketed appropriately. It has a very catchy tune and is foot tapping. It resembles of some traditional folky music and should be a popular. Udit Narayan is in his usual `josh` and Sukhwinder Singh too chips in a bit.

`Aha Aha` is a sweet kind of a number of teenage girls. Falguni Pathak`s vocals are cool as ever and the composition is typically Rajesh Roshan. It is a sort of a question-answer session between the girl in love and her `sakhiyaan` discussing about the how, where, who, when and what of her LOVE. A Come and Go kind of a number.

No Alka Yagnik, no Sunidhi Chauhan, no Kavita Krishnamurthy - only upcoming newcomers like Pamela Jain, Sneha Pant and Falguni Pathak. Does this hint of something? If we look at the Hrithik Roshan-Rajesh Roshan combination then there is a distinct decline (although not very drastic) from Kaho Naa Pyaar Hai to Aap Mujhe Achche Lagne Lage to Na Tum Jano Na Hum. Or probably we have been expecting too much !!! To sum up, the music of NTJNH is good only in bits and pieces with the absence of any chartbuster kinds.
