Since the death of actor Sushant Singh Rajput over two months back, audience has been caught up in the media storm that is bringing out more and more speculations every day. The actor's family has been petitioning the court to have the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) take over the case and just a few days back, the court ruled in their favour. Several artists have come out and expressed their gratitude for this step.

And while Kangana Ranaut has also done the same, it is not without furthering her own agenda of maligning the industry personalities whom she has had issues with. She has revived the debate of nepotism in this mix too. Post the occurrence of this tragic incident, Kangana came on multiple platforms and accused many big names like Mahesh Bhatt, Karan Johar, Aditya Chopra and many others to have had a hand in alienating SSR from the industry. She went on national news and pointed fingers at these people, claiming to be sure that they had a role to play in Sushant taking a step like this.

But now it seems that everyone wants to put a lid on the unjustified accusations that keep increasing day after day. Sushant Singh Rajput's family lawyer, Vikas Singh, recently spoke to a well-known media house and told them that whoever the actress is accusing is baseless.

He said, `She's trying to further her own agenda and attack people she has a personal issue with to settle her own scores. She seems to be on her own trip. The family's FIR has nothing to do with her claims at all.`

He further added, `Everyone knows nepotism exists in the industry. Sushant too must have faced discrimination. But that can't be the primary course of investigation in this case. Those can still be contributory factors, but the main case is on how Rhea and her gang tried to completely exploit and finish Sushant.`

Let us hope that all the false accusations are put to rest and Sushant Singh Rajput gets the justice he deserves.
