Watch: Sonakshi Sinha warns her trollers!

Sonakshi Sinha who disabled her Twitter account and turned off Instagram comment sections after getting trolled by netizens has recently opened it on Instagram. She urged everyone on social media to refrain from any sort of harassment, but some trollers continued to abuse and threaten her. Responding to trolls, Sonakshi immediately approached the cybercrime branch of Mumbai Police and filed an FIR against the perpetrators on August 14th.

After Sonakshi's FIR, 27 years old guy Shashikant Jadhav has been arrested from Aurangabad. Sonakshi also released a statement thereafter through a video post on Instagram and captioned it, "If you are a victim of online abuse and harassment, please know that you can get help! Reach out to the @mumbaipolice @cpmumbai#CyberCrimeBranchMumbai, who are on the same mission as us to clean up our online world! In July month, Sonakshi Sinha took a pledge to stop cyberbullying, harassment and started an association 'Mission Josh' with Special IGP Mr. Pratap Dighavkar and launched a campaign called 'Ab Bas'. The primary motive of the campaign is to create awareness and educate people about online harassment, trolls, impact on the mental health of victims who have faced trolling.
