Sanju
Who can forget the Ranbir Kapoor starrer & Raj Kumar Hirani directed 'Sanju' a film based on the controversial life of Sanjay Dutt? Just after the film trailer, people speculated that 'Sanju' will disclose several hidden facts about Sanjay's life. But after the film release, rather than decoding his life, the filmmaker changed everyone's perception about Sanjay by portraying him as Nayak rather than a Khalnayak.
Moreover, the film doesn't explore how Abu Salem met Sanjay Dutt, or whether they were ever in touch with each other after the meeting involving the AK-56. Soorma
With awe-struck acting of Diljit Dosanjh, Soorma hit the real-life story of Hockey player Sandeep Singh, his love for hockey, his unfortunate accident, his remarkable recovery, and finally his comeback performance at the 2009 'Sultan Azlan Shah Cup'. But unfortunately, the film was not less than flat-out lies to the audiences who had gone to watch the movie.
In the film, it has shown that after he recovered from his injury, Sandeep played a Commonwealth Championship match against Pakistan and was shown grabbing a hattrick. But, neither it was CWC nor he grabbed any hattrick in the same. It was Sultan Azlan Shah Cup (2009) and as well, various facts have been twisted to showcase something which never really took place.

Like in every biopic, some bit of fiction is added but the spirit of the story of Mahavir, Geeta, and Babita is intact.'
PM Narendra Modi
Vivek Oberoi starrer forgettable film 'PM Narendra Modi' was nothing but a film with poor research that showcased the Bhuj earthquake and Akshardham temple attacks, Godhra riots and bizarre scenes of protagonist walking through snow-capped mountains and grappling to stand in deep snow. Akshay Kumar's 'Airlift' was criticized for oversimplifying the complex operation of the airlift during the Gulf War in 1990. The portrayal of diplomats and bureaucrats in the film was criticized by present and former officials in the Indian Ministry of External Affairs. K. P. Fabian, who was the Joint Secretary of the Gulf division at that time, accused the film of deliberately spreading misinformation about the role of government officials. Even Secretary Nirupama Rao tweeted that the film fell completely short in its research on the role of the Ministry in the '90-'91 Gulf War.
