Amaal Mallik is trending on Twitter these days not for his songs but due to his opinions as the singer-composer is engaged in a Twitter battle with Salman Khan's fans on Monday afternoon. All it started when on Twitter he stated that his favorite Bollywood actor is Shah Rukh Khan. He also mentioned that he respects Salman Khan for launching him in Bollywood. But his statement made Salman's fans angry and after that, they didn't stop trolling him and threatened him for not liking Salman Khan.

On August 26th, Amaal Mallik took to his Twitter handle and asked his fans to whom he denotes as 'Amaalians' to avoid such trollers while requesting them to block such haters. He wrote, "#SalmanKhan made me a music composer YES, I respect him for that & always will. Disturbed fans who are abusing me for liking another actor's work, threatening my fans and family needed a little hard schooling & that's all this was. Stay away #Amaalians , seedha report & block." Well, Amaal Mallik has cleared that he will not tolerate any shit from his fans to whom he referred as 'Bhaitards'. The singer has also shared the threats he is getting on social media. On the work front, he debuted in 2014 by composing three songs for Salman Khan's film 'Jai Ho', following it up with the song 'Naina' from Sonam Kapoor's starrer 'Khoobsurat'.
