If you are a cinephile and have been waiting for the sequel of KGF, then this news is for you! The shooting of the much-awaited film "KGF: Chapter 2" has resumed on August 26th.

Due to the outbreak of COVID-19 and the nationwide lockdown the shoot of KGF: Chapter 2 came to a halt. However, even after the announcement of unlocking, there was a delay in restarting the project due to the deteriorating health of Bollywood actor Sanjay Dutt.

Bollywood star Sanjay Dutt will be seen as Adheera, the main antagonist in the sequel. Raveena Tandon has also joined the cast of the film, reportedly, she will be playing the role of the Prime Minister of India.

According to sources, 80% of the shooting of this film has been completed, and the remaining will be shot in Bengaluru and Mysore.

KGF: Chapter 2 is an upcoming Kannada-language period action movie, directed by Prashanth Neel. The film features Yash, Sanjay Dutt, Raveena Tandon, Balakrishna, and Anant Nag in the lead role. The film was expected to be released on 23rd October 2020 but was delayed due to the COVID-19 pandemic and Sanjay Dutt's health issues.
