Dia Mirza was shocked beyond belief when she went to dub for her part in former boyfriend Apoorva Lakhia's film, Shootout At Lokhandwala. She was flabbergasted at the discovery that she had a lot less dubbing to do than what she had shot for, and three of her long scenes had been completely eliminated!

This happened four days back at Aradhna Studio in Andheri (suburban Mumbai).

Dia plays a reporter in the film She had a long scene with Sanjay Dutt and two long interviews with local people in the climax of the film and these scenes were not expected to be cut. Apparently Lakhia took a call on the editing table and chopped them off.

Mirza is reportedly upset at being snubbed by Lakhia, with whom she shared a ‘special bond', before Lakhia's Ek Ajnabee went on the floors.

When contacted Dia she laughs for a long time and then claims she is not unhappy with the length of her role in the upcoming film.

"There are many things that happen on the editing table. There was a problem with only one of my scenes, which I could not reshoot because of some legal hassles regarding the location. Everything else is fine. If Apoorva cuts my scenes, the connection in the film will be broken because I am the sutradhar of the film," she says.

Shootout At Lokhandwala, starring Amitabh Bachchan, Sanjay Dutt, Abhishek Bachchan, Sunil Shetty, Viveik Oberoi, Tusshar Kapoor, Amrita Singh, Dia Mirza, Neha Dhupia, Rohit Roy and Shabbir Ahluwalia, hits theatres on May 25.
