Before the release of Atkan Chatkan, Lydian Nadhaswaram talks about his relation with A R Rahman and Shivamani

ZEE5 has been releasing the best of content in every genre and the audience has been giving them positive responses for the variety of content and one of their most awaited projects is their upcoming musical drama titled 'Atkan Chatkan'

The narrative revolves around a 12-year-old chai delivery boy named Guddu, whose passion is to observe, listen and create new sounds. He finds rhythm in almost everything. Through his daily mundane lifecycle, the story gets its rhythm when he forms a band with other 3 street children that work near his tea stall.

Lydian Nadhaswaram, who is essaying the lead character of Guddu talks about his relation with A R Rahman and Shivamani. Atkan Chatkan also marks the Bollywood debut of Lydian Nadhaswaram.

The actor says, `It is always a pleasure when I see Rahman uncle. He is always kind to me and calls me 'Lydian buddy' and at times he calls me in my second name, 'Nadhaswaram' that really makes me very happy."

Talking about how Lydian has worked with the musician for other projects he also adds, `Rahman uncle made me play the piano in his project which was recorded for Amazon Prime Video. He also felicitated and honoured me in his college (K.M.CONSERVATORY) when I got the World's best title in a reality show (America). He came to our home and wished me too. He is so kind and he gifted me a few musical instruments like ROLI SEABOARD and HARPIJEE."

Talking about the Shivamani Lydian says, `Shivamani uncle always treats me very well and he made me play in his own concerts several times. His love and respect to me and my family is always special to us. Honestly, even in this movie I enjoyed his compositions and it's a joy for me to improvise further in the movie shoot honestly."

Atkan Chatkan' stars Lydian Nadhaswaram who is stated as the world's best child pianist & A. R. Rahman's protege and will be seen in the lead as Guddu. The film will star Sachin Chaudhary as Chuttan, Yash Rane as Madhav, Tamanna Dipak as Meethi in pivotal roles.

The film is written & directed by Filmmaker, Saumyy Shivhare, produced by Lokaa Entertainment PLC and presented by PadmaBhushan and Grammy award winner and music producer A. R. Rahman. The film is all set to release exclusively on ZEE5 on 5th September 2020.
