Last year, the film 'Cargo' made waves in the international film circuit when it was screened at the MAMI Film Festival and was selected for 15 more international film festivals. Now, finally, after a year Netflix has released the trailer of 'Cargo' which stars Vikrant Massey and Shweta Tripathi in the lead roles.

In India's first-ever spaceship sci-fi film, Cargo features Vikrant Massey as Prahastha, a demon, who works at the Post Death Transition services on a space station 'Pushpak 634A' orbiting earth alongside his colleague (Shweta Tripathi). In the trailer, it has been shown that Prahastha revives dead people. On the other side, Yuvishkha Shekhar is a female astronaut (Shweta Tripathi) who also works along with Prahastha in the extraction bay. The trailer exhibits the life of Prahastha & Yuvishkha and how they deal with their space life. Check out the trailer here -



Written and directed by Arati Kadav, 'Cargo' will directly release on Netflix, September 9th. The film features Vikrant Massey and Shweta Tripathi in the lead roles. The sci-fi film, which premiered at 2019 MAMI Film Festival under the spotlight section, revolves around a spaceship named Pushpak 634A where dead people are recycled for rebirth.
