According to the BMC notice, the office is not constructed as per BMC Rule 354A and she has violated the BMC rules and authorities are free to act on it. The civil body also cleared, the visit by its officials was part of a 'regular exercise' undertaken to keep a tab on illegal constructions in suburban Bandra where her office is located.

Meanwhile, on Monday, Kangana Ranaut was granted Y category security by the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) as she has decided to land in Mumbai on September 9 amid the ongoing war of words between the Maharashtra government and Shiv Sena leader Sanjay Raut. On her Y-Plus category security, government sources told leading entertainment portals, she will be protected by a Personal Security Officer and 11 armed policemen including commandos.
