After getting interrogated for three consecutive days, the Narcotics Control Bureau finally arrested Rhea Chakraborty over the drug charges. The NCB had interrogated Rhea for six hours on Sunday, later on, Monday for eight hours, and again for around five hours on Tuesday before placing her under arrest.

The NCB arrested Rhea Chakrabarty under the various sections of NDPS. The officials have stated that she will be taken for a medical test and in the evening, Rhea is likely to be produced before a magistrate through video-conferencing for remand. On the other side, Sushant Singh Rajput's sister Shweta Singh Kirti reacted on the news and tweeted, "#GodIsWithUs." Check out her tweet here -

On August 26th, the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) filed a criminal case against Rhea Chakraborty and others to probe their alleged dealings in banned drugs. Sections 20, 22, 27 and 29 of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act (NDPS) were pressed in the complaint filed by the federal anti-drug agency on an official reference received from the Enforcement Directorate (ED).
