Sanjay Dutt was diagnosed with stage 3 lung cancer in August 2020, and currently is undergoing treatment in Mumbai.

On the workfront, he will next be seen in Karan Malhotra's upcoming action-adventure film "Shamshera", also starring Ranbir Kapoor and Vaani Kapoor in the lead roles. Apart from that, the actor has also signed various films like "Bhuj: the pride of India", "KGF 2", "Prithviraj", and "Torbaaz".
