Action director, Allan Amin, who has done action sequences for films like the Dhoom series, Qayamat and Bandit Queen, has been nominated for the Taurus World Stunt Awards to be held in Los Angeles at Paramount Studios on May 20.
The nomination is for his sequences in Dhoom:2.
Says Allan, "It was a pleasant surprise, and as Indians, we should be proud that an Indian film is getting recognition abroad.
The moment I heard the news, I was so excited that I opened a bottle of champagne to celebrate.
Shooting Dhoom:2 was fun as we had a good budget and ample time to plan out the elaborate stunts, hence I could do a good job."
While Allan is planning to go to LA to attend the awards ceremony, he is currently busy working on Harry Baweja's Love Story 2050 and Abbas-Mastan's Race.
