Sushant Singh Rajput made his debut with Abhishek Kapoor's film 'Kai Po Che!' for which he gained immense accolades and recognition. Sushant was always dear to Abhishek, that is why the director roped him again for his dream project 'Kedarnath' that depicts the unfortunate 2013 floods of Uttarakhand. On September 11th, the film marks the third anniversary of the day when he first commenced work for the film. Remembering the day, Abhishek shared some memorable moments on social media and penned an emotional note for the late actor.

In the note, without taking any name Abhishek takes a dig at those people who demoralized and discouraged Sushant in his career and denoted them vicious minds. Even after Sushant's sudden demise, Abhishek was the one who admitted and said in an interview that the actor's 'fragile mind' was 'systematically dismantled' by the film industry.

While sharing the BTS videos and pictures on Instagram, Abhishek Kapoor wrote, "Sushant Singh Rajput (1986-2020) Our last dance together kicked off 3 years ago on this day in #Kedarnath. I have vivid memories of our times together brother.. How i wish u knew how much u were loved by ur fans..how i wish that u were not made to believe otherwise by some vicious minds.. How i wish u could see how ur fans are fighting to bring u justice.. they have turned the world upside down for u and i can almost hear u say `jaane do sir, kaam bolega." Check out his post here -

Kedarnath (2018) is a romantic drama film written, directed and co-produced by Abhishek Kapoor, featuring Sushant Singh Rajput and Sara Ali Khan in lead roles. As their relationship grows closer, the pair face many obstacles, including familial disapproval and contrasting backgrounds. When the sudden rains of the 2013 Uttarakhand floods devastate the region, the couple is forced to survive against the elements and face the ultimate test of their love.
