BIG 92.7 FM, reputedly India's largest private FM radio network, will now be able to provide a music mix that spans across various eras following its agreements with the Phonographic Performance Ltd (PPL), T-Series and Yashraj Music, a company statement said.
PPL, T-Series and Yashraj Music are key copyright owners of Hindi film music.
The FM's music positioning offers popular tracks from across eras, derived after extensive consumer research, "giving listeners the music of their choice", the company added.
"It is BIG 92.7 FM's endeavour to reach out to a larger section of audiences and increase our listener base. This tie-up will give us the edge to do so," said Manav Dhanda, national programming head of BIG 92.7 FM. The network has 17 operational stations and a presence in 45 cities, 1,000 towns and 50,000 villages.
