Well, Khaali Peeli filmmakers weren't aware of the fact that Beyonce has trademark registrations on 'Beyonce', 'Sasha Fierce', 'Yonce' and 'Beyhive', among others names. While registering the name, Beyonce made it clear that she has only applied for the same to keep someone else from making money off her name. Along with her, husband Jay Z has also trademarked his names.
'Khaali Peeli' is a romantic action film directed by Maqbool Khan and produced by Ali Abbas Zafar, Zee Studios, and Himanshu Mehra. The film features Ishaan Khatter and Ananya Pandey in the lead role whereas Jaideep Ahlawat will portray the antagonist role. Earlier it was rumored that the film was inspired by South Star Vijay Deverakonda's 'Taxiwaala', which was a big hit in the South but later on Khaali Peeli's filmmakers denied such rumors. The film is set to release on ZEE5, October 2nd.
