Recently, Kangana Ranaut shared several huge remarks on social media where she calls Bollywood a 'gutter', BMC as Babur, or comparing Mumbai with PoK, the actress is acting no less than Shieldmaiden. But her harsh remarks on the film industry and civic body made Jaya Bachchan exasperated. On a 'Zero Hour' mention in Rajya Sabha, Jaya spoke on the ongoing controversy and without mentioning anyone's names, she said that the entertainment industry is being flogged by social media and asked the government to protect the dignity.

Now, after her speech, several Bollywood celebrities have also reacted and supported Mrs. Bachchan for her strong remarks. Taapsee Pannu shared a video shared by Anubhav Sinha which quotes, "जया जी को सादर प्रणाम भेजता हूँ। जिनको पता नहीं वो देख लें। रीढ़ की हड्डी ऐसी दिखती है।" On this Taapsee tweeted, "For we have always stood by the initiatives, causes and awareness campaigns. Sonam Kapoor also shared Anubhav Sinha`s tweeted video and wrote, "I want to be her when I grow up.." Along with her, Swara Bhaskar also retweeted the same video on the micro-blogging site. Anurag Kashyap hasn't tweeted anything but he retweeted one Twitter user who commented on Kangana's allegations on Bollywood. On Tuesday, Jaya Bachchan slammed Kangana for defaming the Indian film Industry, on this Kangana also reverted Mrs. Bachchan and said, her opinions would be the same if her son Abhishek and daughter Shweta would face the same situation. Well, Jaya didn't react to Kangana Ranaut's statement yet but after hearing her stated words it might irritate her.
