On Tuesday, US rapper Cardi B filed for divorce with her husband, Offset, after three years of their turbulent marriage. Cardi B has also decided to seek for her 2 years old daughter Kulture's (Real name Kiari Cephus) custody and ready to demand child support from Offset. Now it has been said that the first hearing of the divorce is set for November 4th, in Fulton County court in Georgia, which is Offset's home state.
As of December 2018, on her relationship with Offset, Cardi B said in her Instagram video, "We got a lot of love for each other but things just haven't been working out between us for a long time. It's just like, I guess we just grew out of love, but we're not together anymore."
According to the BBC, Cardi B described their marriage as irretrievably broken. As per the media news, "Cardi B is asking for primary custody of their child as well as for Offset to contribute for support and maintenance." Legal documents state that the couple is living in a bona fide state of separation and there is no prospect of reconciliation. Well, Cardi B and Offset secretly tied the knot in September 2017.
Talking more about Cardi B, she became famous worldwide when her song Bodak Yellow became a hit in 2017. Since then, she has collaborated with many artists like Bruno Mars, Selena Gomez, Ariana Grande, and more. On the other side, Offset is an American rapper and songwriter and a member of the hip hop and trap music trio Migos, alongside his cousin Quavo and his cousin Takeoff.
