Amid the Sushant Singh Rajput's demise, the tinsel town has become the ocean of controversies where each passing day brings some new twists and turns that shocks the nation. For now, NCB is probing the drug angle case with regards to Sushant's suicide but now more than Sushant, the case has been drifted towards drug angle in which several Bollywood A-lister has been summoned by the NCB.

With regards to the ongoing controversy shuffling around the narcotic substances, on Friday, veteran poet, lyricist, and screenwriter Javed Akhtar took a jibe at news television channels that have been highlighting a house party organized by Karan Johar last year. A party video that has gone viral on social media and taking the reference of video netizens are slamming the B-town celebs.

While taking a dig at the country's current situation, Javad Akhtar wrote on Twitter, "If Karan johar had invited some farmers too for his party life would have been easier for our TV channels. They would not have had to choose between farmers protest and Karan's party!. it seems that Karan's do is the second most favourite PARTY of our channels." Check out his tweet here -



In Karan Johar's viral party video, Deepika Padukone, Ranbir Kapoor, Vicky Kaushal, Shahid Kapoor, Varun Dhawan, Malaika Arora, and Arjun Kapoor, besides filmmakers, Zoya Akhtar and Ayan Mukerji were spotted together. Reportedly, it is speculated that the celebrities seen in the old house party video were high on drugs. But nothing has been confirmed whether anyone of the actors has consumed drugs or not. Now NCB is investigating the video and even Karan Johar has come forward and released a public statement, denying all the imposed allegations.
