We all remember 'Manikarnika: The Queen Of Jhansi' because of Kangana Ranaut's strong performance as Rani Lakshmi Bai of Jhansi. The actress did commendable work in the film and became the highest first-day collection for any female-oriented film of 2019. But very few people know that Sonu Sood was also supposed to portray the role of 'Sadashivrao Bhau' in the film. But had opted out from the film after shooting a few scenes. Later, the actor revealed that he left the film mid-way due to reshoots and film schedules.

Now, Sonu Sood shared a throwback picture on Instagram and can be seen flaunting his chiseled physique while walking with director Krish. He captioned the post, "Walk towards the good in life and one day you will arrive ❣️#throwback." Although, Sonu hasn't mentioned the film set but the picture belongs to the sets of 'Manikarnika: The Queen Of Jhansi'. Check out his post here -

Recently, Sonu Sood received the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) with SDG Special Humanitarian Action Award for helping stranded migrants during the coronavirus pandemic by arranging food, buses, train tickets, and chartered flights for them. With this, Sonu Sood joins the likes of Angelina Jolie, David Beckham, Leonardo DiCaprio, Emma Watson, Liam Neeson, Cate Blanchett, Antonio Banderas, Nicole Kidman, and Priyanka Chopra who have been similarly honored by different UN bodies.

On the work front, he was last seen in Rohit Shetty's cop universe 'Simmba' as Durva Ranade. On the other side, Sonu Sood will join the star cast of Chandraprakash Dwivedi's historical period-drama film, 'Prithviraj' alongside Akshay Kumar and Manushi Chillar.
