The reason apparently is Ali Fazal, and Mirzapur co-producer Farhan Akhtar. As netizens have referred to Ali Fazal's December 2019 tweet, when he protests against the CAA and NRC act. In the tweet, Ali used his character Guddu's dialogue from Mirzapur, reads, `Suru Majboori Mein Kiye Thhey, Ab Maja Aa Raha Hai!` Whereas, Farhan Akhtar is being called out for taking part in anti-CAA protests.
