Mahanati director Nag Ashwin is collaborating with Telugu superstar Prabhas and Bollywood fame Deepika Padukone for a new movie that has been tentatively titled as Prabhas 21. Deepika Padukone has been locked for the female lead in the film. Now the makers of the film have confirmed that megastar Amitabh Bachchan has been roped in for playing a pivotal role in the film.

This is the first time when the biggest superstars Prabhas and Deepika Padukone will be sharing the screen space together and in July this year both had made the big announcement that they will be coming together for a film which will be Prabhas' 21st film. Deepika has worked with Amitabh Bachchan in Piku which was a hit.

Sharing his excitement and speaking about the project, Director Nag Ashwin had said, `I'm very excited to see Deepika play this character. It is something no mainstream lead has done before and will be quite a surprise for everyone. The pairing of Deepika and Prabhas will be one of the main highlights of the film and the story between them, I believe will be something audiences will carry in their hearts for years to come.`
